What is an AEO audit?
An AEO audit checks whether AI answer tools such as ChatGPT, Gemini, Perplexity, Grok and Google AI Overviews can find, read and trust your website. You get checked findings and a prioritised fix list you can follow yourself, plus a 30-day recheck. It helps remove the technical reasons you might be skipped; it cannot guarantee a mention.
How much does an AEO audit cost?
The AEO audit is a one-off A$1,500 AUD, with no GST and no retainer for the audit. It includes a free 20-minute intro call, a checked audit delivered within 5 to 7 business days, a results call, and a 30-day recheck. Done-with-you days and monthly SMB plans are priced separately. What if AI describes my business wrongly?
We record exactly what each AI tool says, with the date, and compare it with what your site and other sources say. The fix list targets the causes we can influence, such as unclear pages and missing structured data. We cannot control what an AI system chooses to say, and nobody can.
Can you check how AI repeats our sustainability or emissions claims?
If you publish sustainability or emissions claims, AI answers can repeat them wrongly or leave out the caveats. We check what AI says about those claims against what you actually publish. This is a check on accuracy, not legal advice. The ACCC published guidance on making emissions claims to consumers in October 2026. Read the ACCC release.
Is the free check really free?
Yes. The Free AEO Toolkit runs nine checks on your website address and needs no email. It scores how readable your site is to AI tools, but it does not ask ChatGPT, Gemini, Perplexity, Grok or Google AI Overviews whether they mention you. The paid audit tests those five tools.
Who is the audit for?
Solo founders who build and run their own business, often using AI tools. The audit and its DIY instructions are written for that - not for a marketing team.
What’s included in the one-off price?
$1,500 AUD covers the full audit, a free 20-minute intro call, a 30-minute result call with 3 email exchanges within 2 weeks, and a 30-day recheck call. The audit has no ongoing tracking after that; monthly tracking is part of our SMB plans. No GST is added (AISearch Global is not registered for GST).
Does the audit include implementation?

How long does delivery take?
5-7 business days from your intro call to your audit landing in your inbox. Any visibility change after that depends on what you implement and when AI platforms next update - that part is outside our control.
